“Old materials carry their own history—when used well, they don’t just finish a house, they give it a meaning.” —Ralph Kylloe

Built at over 11,000 feet, the site shaped nearly every construction decision. Reclaimed timber and locally sourced stone anchor the home, while wood reclaimed from historic homestead cabins carries through both the interior and exterior. Deep window openings, heavy timber framing, and substantial stonework create a home designed to perform in a demanding alpine environment.
